Graduado em Geologia pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2002), Especialista em Geologia do Petróleo (2001), Mestre em Geociências pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2004) e Doutor em Ciências pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2018). Atuou como geólogo/geoquímico no Centro de Pesquisas da PETROBRAS na Gerência de Geoquímica (2007-2011). Atualmente é Professor Adjunto dos cursos de Engenharia do Petróleo e Engenharia Geológica da UFPEL. Tem experiência na área de Geoquímica Orgânica e Modelagem de Sistemas Petrolíferos, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Geoquímica Orgânica, Petrologia Orgânica, Biomarcadores, Cinética de Geração de Petróleo, Modelagem de Sistemas Petrolíferos e Sistemas Petrolíferos Atípicos.
Graduated in Geology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2002), Specialist in Petroleum Geology (2001), Master in Geosciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2004) and Doctor of Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2018). He served as a geologist / geochemist at the PETROBRAS Research Center in Geochemistry Management (2007-2011). He is currently an Adjunct Professor of the Petroleum Engineering and Geological Engineering courses at UFPEL. He has expert in Organic Geochemistry and Petroleum Systems Modeling, acting on the following topics: Organic Geochemistry, Organic Petrology, Biomarkers, Petroleum Generation Kinetics, Petroleum Systems Modeling and Atypical Petroleum Systems.
