Doutoranda em Políticas Sociais e Cidadania, pela Universidade Católica do Salvador. Mestra em Políticas Sociais e Cidadania, pela Universidade Católica do Salvador. Especialista lato sensu, pela Escola de Magistrados da Bahia - EMAB (1998). Graduada em Direito pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (1998). Atualmente é Promotora de Justiça, do Ministério Público do Estado da Bahia, titular da 4. Promotoria de Execução Criminal, 1. Promotora. Tem experiência na área de Direito, com ênfase em Infância e Juventude e Criminologia Crítica. Integrante do Grupo de Pesquisa NEICAJ/GQESCI da UCSAL desde o ano de 2017. Líder de Pesquisa do Grupo de Estudo GEPIA- Grupo de Estudos sobre Infância e Adolescência, que compõe o eixo infância e adolescência da linha de pesquisa institucional O Ministério Público e a Efetividade dos Direitos Fundamentais.
