Thales Ornellas Correa de Oliveira

Master in Botany at the National School of Tropical Botany; Bachelor in Plant Biology at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He had Scientific Initiation in the Laboratory of Structural Botany, at Research Institute of the Botanical Garden of Rio de Janeiro, and Extension (University-Society) in the project "Educar para Preservar: Um exercício de cidadania", at UFRJ. Also, he worked with Graphic Design and Environmental Education in the project "Recicla CCS", which has deployed the selective collect at the Center of Health Sciences (CCS-UFRJ). Nowadays, he studies the License in Biological Sciences at the Universitary Center Augusto Motta and the Doctor's degree in Botany at the National Museum, linked to the Laboratory of Plant Morphology and the Laboratory of Structural Botany.

Mestre em Botânica pela Escola Nacional de Botânica Tropical; Bacharel em Ciências Biológicas - Biologia Vegetal pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). Foi bolsista de Iniciação Científica no Laboratório de Botânica Estrutural do Instituto de Pesquisa Jardim Botânico do Rio de Janeiro e de Extensão no projeto "Educar para Preservar: Um exercício de cidadania" pela UFRJ. Também atuou com Design Gráfico e Educação Ambiental no projeto "Recicla CCS", na implantação da coleta seletiva no Centro de Ciências da Saúde - UFRJ. Atualmente cursa a Licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas pelo Centro Universitário Augusto Motta e o Doutorado em Botânica pelo Museu Nacional/UFRJ, vinculado ao Laboratório de Morfologia Vegetal (IB-UFRJ) e Laboratório de Botânica Estrutural (JBRJ), atuando na área de Anatomia Vegetal.
