Renata Gomes Luis

Possui graduação em Letras (Português e Inglês) pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina - UEL (2008), Mestrado em Letras (Inglês) pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina - UFSC (2012) e Doutorado em Estudos Linguísticos (Inglês) pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, no qual pesquisou o processo de construção de identidades profissionais de alunos-professores de inglês em estágio. É professora efetiva de língua inglesa do Colégio de Aplicação da UFSC. Tem experiência no ensino de inglês e português como línguas adicionais em diversos contextos educacionais, como instituto de línguas, educação básica e educação superior. Atualmente é professora efetiva de inglês do Colégio de Aplicação da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). Possui interesse em pesquisas que envolvam a formação de professores e o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de línguas adicionais, as identidades socioculturais de alunos e professores no ambiente escolar, as identidades profissionais de professores de línguas adicionais; a construção de comunidades de prática e de espaços deliberativos no ambiente escolar; o estudo das crenças e representações do coletivo profissional. Em 2018, esteve em período de licença-maternidade.

Renata holds a Teaching degree in Portuguese and English from the State University of Londrina (UEL - 2008), a Master's degree in English from the Federal University of Santa Catarina - (UFSC - 2012) and a Doctorate in Language Studies (English) from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, in which she researched the process of professional identity construction of student-teachers of English during the student teaching. She is a tenured teacher of English at Colégio de Aplicação, UFSC. She has experience in the teaching of Portuguese and English as additional languages in different educational contexts, such as language institutes, basic education and higher education. She is currently a permanent teacher in the basic education school 'Colégio de Aplicação' at UFSC. Renata is interested in research that involves teacher education, additional language teaching and learning, students' and teachers' sociocultural identities in the school environment; additional language teachers' professional identities; the construction of communities of practice and deliberative spaces in the school/ classroom, the study of teachers' beliefs and representations. In 2018, she was in maternity leave.
