I worked as pos doc in the Programa de Monitoramento de Queimadas por Satélite at Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais (CPTEC / INPE, Brazil). My main research topic deals to use the remote sensing tools and satellites datasets to explore the fire ecology and vegetation-fire interaction. My works notably focus on understand how anthropogenic drivers of land use/cover changes influence in the current fire regimes and in different responses of fire-prone vegetation types from Brazillian Cerrado. I have experience with fire risk assessments, landscape metrics, drought indices, fire modelling and field experiments of prescribed fires.
