Francisco Kegenaldo Alves de Sousa

Doutor em Ciências e Engenharia de Materiais pela UFCG (2010). Atualmente é Professor Associado III na UFCG Campus de Campina Grande. Tem larga experiência em Engenharia de Produção, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: lean manufacturing, man-machine assignment, optimization e multifunction workforce. Possui experiência como profissional e pesquisador nas áreas de Petróleo e Gás Natural, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: argilas organofilicas, desenvolvimento de argilas adsortivas, composições de argilas e desenvolvimento de materiais compósitos usados como reforço em dutos. Já orientou mais de 100 discentes em níveis de graduação e pós-graduação. Possui artigos publicados em canais especializados de produção científica e acadêmica.

PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2010) and Master in Production Engineering from the Federal University of Paraiba (2005). Currently is Adjunct Professor III in UFCG Campus of Campina Grande. Has extensive experience in production engineering, with emphasis on Management of Production. Acting on the following topics: lean manufacturing, man-machine assignment, workforce optimization and multifunction as well as in development projects in local clusters of companies producing products and services with IDB financing, professional internship abroad. Acted as a Consultant on International Cooperation Project BRA 01/020, involving the SEBRAE / IDB / PROMOS, Italian Organizations and Footwear Sector of Paraiba. Also has experience in materials engineering, with an emphasis on oil and natural gas, acting on the following topics: organophilic clays, oil based drilling fluids, rheology, bentonite clay and clay compositions. Chaired the Commission on elaboration of the Pedagogical Project Course (PPC) and the STC (Structuring Teaching Core) Production Engineering Course of UFCG. It was Sao Paulo Alpargatas Production Manager, UNDP Consultant and several small and medium-sized businesses in the Northeast of Brazil. Has published articles in specialized channels of scientific and scholarly production.
