Viviane de Hiroki Flumignan Zétola

Graduated in Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná (1989), MASTER in Internal Medicine from the Federal University of Paraná (1997) and PhD degree in Neurology from the University of São Paulo (2003). She held a FELLOW in Neurosonology at the Sackler University of Tel-Aviv, Israel, Titular MEMBER of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology and Corresponding Member of the American Academy of Neurology. Latin American Representative Member of the Executive Committee of the Study Group on Neurosonology of the 'World Federation of Neurology' and of the Ibero-American Society of Cerebrovascular Diseases. Former President and current Scientific Director of the Paraná Association of Neurological Sciences. ASSOCIATE Professor III of the Department of Internal Medicine at UFPR in the Disciplines of Neurology and Introduction to Internal Medicine, Medical Coordinator of the Group of Cerebrovascular Diseases and of the Neurosonology Laboratory at Neurology Service of CHC - Hospital de Clínicas of the Federal University of Paraná / EBSERH. Visiting Professor of the Discipline of Neurosciences at the Catholic University of Paraná. She is Principal Investigator in many researchs at Instituto Flumignano de Medicina and CHC - Hospital de Clínicas of UFPR-/ Ebserh where she conducts clinical trials mainly in the areas of DEMENTIA and CEREBROVASCULAR DISEASE (stroke). She holds the position of Head of the Research and Technological Innovation Sector at CHC/UFPR - EBSERH since August 2022. She is the current President of the Brazilian Stroke Congress that will take place in Curitiba, from October 12-15, 2023. Invited speaker at international congresses, having as the last one participated in the World Stroke Congress that took place in Singapore in October/2022.

Graduação em Medicina pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (1989), MESTRADO em Medicina Interna pela Universidade Federal do Paraná (1997) e DOUTORADO em Neurologia pela Universidade de São Paulo (2003). Ex-Presidente da Associação Paranaense de Ciências Neurológicas e atual Diretora Cientifica. Professora ASSOCIADA III do Departamento de Clínica Médica da UFPR nas disciplinas de Neurologia e Introdução a Clínica Médica, Coordenadora Médica do Grupo de Doenças Cerebrovasculares e do Laboratório de Neurossonologia do Serviço de Neurologia do CHC - Hospital de Clínicas da Universidade Federal do Paraná / EBSERH. Professora Visitante da Disciplina de Neurociências da Universidade Católica do Paraná. É Investigadora Principal em diversas Linhas de Pesquisa do Instituto Flumignano de Medicina e do Hospital de Clínicas da UFPR onde conduz estudos clínicos principalmente nas áreas de DEMÊNCIA e DOENÇA CEREBROVASCULAR (AVC). Ocupa o cargo de Chefe do Setor de Pesquisa e Inovação Tecnológica do CHC/UFPR - EBSERH desde agosto de 2022. É a atual Presidente do Congresso Brasileiro de AVC que ocorrerá em Curitiba, dos dias 12-15/outubro de 2023. Palestrante convidada em congressos Internacionais, tendo como último participado do Congresso Mundial de AVC que ocorreu em Singapura em outubro/2022.
