Lucas Pedroros ramos received the B.S.E.E. degree from the Federal University of Pampa (UNIPAMPA), Alegrete, RS, Brazil, in 2018. He received his M.Sc. in Electronics and Computer Engineering (PG-EEC) from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), São José dos Campos, SP, Brazil in 2021. His master's dissertation received an honorable mention in the Cecchini Award for Best Defended Dissertation in 2021 from ITA. Lucas is a Ph.D. student in PG-EEC (Telecommunications field) at ITA. From Sept. 2023 to Aug. 2024, He is a visiting Ph.D. in the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH), Karlskrona, Sweden in partnership with Saab AB. Lucas has been working mainly on the following topics: image processing and change detection in applications that cover areas of knowledge such as remote sensing and synthetic aperture radar (SAR).
