Ana Margarida Rodrigues Pinto

Ana Margarida Rodrigues Pinto recebeu o título de Graduada em Física pela Universidade do Minho (Braga, Portugal) em 2006 e o de Doutorado em Tecnologias da Comunicação pela Universidade Pública de Navarra (Pamplona, Navarra, Espanha) em 2012. De 2007 a 2008, trabalhou no INESC Porto (Porto, Portugal) no desenvolvimento de bio-sensores em fibra ótica. De 2013 até ao início de 2014, trabalhou na Universidade Pública de Navarra como colaboradora a tempo integral do Projeto Europeu ECOAL-Mgt (Programa SUDOE). Do início de 2014 até início de 2016 realizou seu pós-doutorado na Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (Joinville, SC, Brasil), no Grupo de Engenharia Biomédica. Atualmente é Professora Adjunta A da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina no campus de Joinville. Suas áreas de interesse incluem fibras óticas,fibras de cristal fotônico, lasers e sensores, e instrumentação biomédica.

Ana Margarida Rodrigues Pinto received the B.Sc. degree in Physics from the Minho University (Braga, Portugal) in 2006 and the Ph.D. in Communications Technology from the Public University of Navarra (Pamplona, Navarra, Spain) in 2012. From 2007 to 2008, she worked with INESC Porto (Porto, Portugal) developing biosensors through fiber optics. From 2013 to the beginning of 2014, she worked with the Public University of Navarra as a full-time collaborator for the ECOAL-Mgt European Project (SUDOE Program). From the beginning of 2014 until the beginning of 2016 she developed her postdoctoral studies at the State University of Santa Catarina (Joinville, Brazil), in the Biomedical Engineering Group. She is currently an Associate Professor of the Federal University of Santa Catarina on Joinville campus. Her research interests include photonic crystal fibers, lasers and fiber-optic sensors, biochemical and biomedical applications as well as medical instrumentation.
