Nerry Tatiana Cecílio

Mestre (2009) e Doutora (2014) em Ciências com ênfase em Biologia Celular e Molecular pela Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto/USP. Realizou seu estágio pós-doutoral no Centro de Pesquisa em Doenças Inflamatórias (CRID) - CEPID/FAPESP, sediado na Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto/USP (2015-2019) e atuou como pesquisadora visitante do Target Discovery Institute - University of Oxford/UK (Bolsista BEPE/FAPESP - 2017-2018). Atualmente e pesquisadora na empresa OxGene (Oxford, UK) trabalhando na area de edição de genomas utilizando a ferramenta CRISPR/Cas9 para o screening do genoma global.Tem interesse na descoberta de alvos farmacológicos para o tratamento de doenças inflamatórias e cancer. Atua principalmente nos seguintes temas: Geração de bibliotecas CRISPR/Cas9, Edição gênica, genômica funcional e screenings fenotípicos.

PhD (2014) in Sciences with emphasis in Cellular and Molecular Biology, Ribeirão Preto Medical School/USP. Conducted her postdoctoral internship at the Center for Research in Inflammatory Diseases (CRID) - CEPID / FAPESP, based at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School/USP (2015-2019). During her postdoctoral internship, worked as a visitor researcher at the Target Discovery Institute (TDI) - University of Oxford / UK (BEPE / FAPESP - 2017-2018). Currently, is a researcher at the OxGene Company (Oxford, UK) working with gene editing, using CRISPR/Cas9 tool for genome-wide screens. Major interest: discover of new pharmacological targets for the treatment of inflammatory diseases and cancer. Main topics: CRISPR/Cas9 library generation, High-Content Screening and High-Throughput Screening.
