Cinira Arruda d`Alva

Architect and visual artist, Cinira d?Alva carries out works where she seeks to explore the possibilities of involvement with the urban landscape from tactics of apprehension and transcription of the experience. Graduated from the University of São Paulo (EESC-USP) and with a master's degree in Urbanism from the Federal University of Bahia (PPGAU-UFBA), she was involved from an early age with the architect's ways of doing and his relationship with the inhabitant and the city, proposing deviations from the hegemonic way of operating in architecture and urbanism. As an independent artist, she has been producing multimedia installations based on the understanding of the landscape as an intensive path between the body and the world.

Arquiteta e Artista visual, Cinira d?Alva realiza trabalhos onde busca explorar as possibilidades de envolvimento com a paisagem urbana a partir de táticas de apreensão e transcrição da experiência. Graduada pela Universidade de São Paulo (EESC-USP) e com mestrado em Urbanismo pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (PPGAU-UFBA), implicou-se desde cedo com os modos de fazer do arquiteto e sua relação com o habitante e a cidade, propondo desvios ao modo de operar hegemônico na arquitetura e urbanismo. Como artista independente, vem produzindo instalações multimídia baseadas na compreensão da paisagem como um caminho intensivo entre o corpo e o mundo.
