IGOR MEIRELES DE ARAÚJO

Doutorado pela Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA - 2022) pelo Programa de Pós Graduação em Engenharia Elétrica (PPGEE) na área de Computação Aplicada. Durante parte do seu doutorado (2019-2020), foi pesquisador visitante na Unidade de Redes Ópticas (ONU) na Universidade de Tecnologia Chalmers, em Gotemburgo, Suécia, através do Programa de Doutorado Sanduiche no Exterior (PDSE) com fomento da instituição Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES). Possui Mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Pará (UFPA - 2017) e Bacharelado em Engenharia de Computação pelo Instituto de Estudos Superiores da Amazônia (IESAM - 2014). Atualmente faz parte do grupo de pesquisa do Laboratório de Inteligência Computacional e Pesquisa Operacional (LINC) da UFPA. Seus interesses de pesquisa incluem inteligência computacional, mineração de dados e computação paralela utilizando GPGPU.

Ph. D. at Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE) of Federal University of Pará (UFPA - 2022) with emphasis in Applied Computing. During part of his Ph. D.(2019-2020), he was a visiting researcher at the Optical Networks Unit (ONU) at the Chalmers University of Technology, in Gothenburg, Sweden, through the Programa de Doutorado Sanduiche no Exterior (PDSE) with support from the CAPES institution. He holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (UFPA-2017) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Institute of Higher Studies of the Amazon (IESAM-2014). He is currently part of the research group at the Laboratory of Computational Intelligence and Operations Research (LINC) at UFPA. His research interests include computational intelligence, data mining and parallel computing using GPGPU.
