Peter Batista Cheung

Engenheiro Civil e Mestre em Tecnologias Ambientais pela UFMS. Doutor em Hidráulica e Saneamento pela EESC/USP. Pós-doutor pelo Cemagref Bordeaux.

Peter Cheung is partial professor at Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (Brazil), founder and president of Optimale Technology Company which develops hardware and software solutions for the environmental sector. In addition, he was the director of the Brazilian Association of Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, a Latin American representative of the International Water Association and a board member of a specialist group for Strategic Asset Management. He has experience in planning, instrumentation and management aspects of water distribution systems. He has particular expertise in computational modeling, water losses, performance index, automation systems, telemetry hardware and software developments.
