Alexandre Zuquete Guarato

Bachelor's Degree on Mechanical Engineering from Federal University of Uberlândia (2010), in which 1 year at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs du Mans. PhD's Degree from Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and Renault, France, and Postdoc (with Young Talents scholarship from Science without Borders) at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2017). Currently Associate Professor of the Mechanical Engineering Department (FEMEC) of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), Grantee of the Serrapilheira Institute, Reviewer of the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering, Mechanics & Industry, and Revista Brasileira de Ciência Tecnologia e Inovação, Advisor of the Propulsion and Aerospatial Technology Team and Entrepreneur through the startup Agni in the field of reverse engineering and additive manufacturing. Research field: 3D scanning, 3D printing and machinery design.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2009), com 1 ano cursado (com bolsa BRAFITEC) na Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs du Mans (2008-2009), doutorado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Ecole Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay (2013) em parceria com a empresa Renault SA de Rueil-Malmaison, França, e pós-doutorado (com Bolsa Jovens Talentos do Ciência sem Fronteiras) na Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (2017). Tem experiência de 4 anos como Engenheiro de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento de Powertrain na Renault SA de Rueil-Malmaison, França. Atualmente é Professor Adjunto na Faculdade de Engenharia Mecânica (FEMEC) da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU), revisor dos periódicos Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering, Mechanics & Industry, e da Revista Brasileira de Ciência Tecnologia e Inovação, tutor da Equipe de Propulsão e Tecnologia Aeroespacial, e empreendedor através da startup Agni na área de engenharia reversa e manufatura aditiva. Área de atuação: escaneamento 3D, impressão 3D e projeto de máquinas.
