Lucas Reis da Silva

Doctoral candidate and Master in Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. In an exchange program, he studied part of his master's degree at the Paris 1 University School of Law - Panthéon-Sorbonne. Bachelor of Law from the Federal University of Ouro Preto and Bachelor of History from the same University. Currently, he holds the position of Labor Inspector at the Ministry of Economy, acting in the inspection of compliance with legislation by companies. Approved in a public examination, he was nominated in 2011 in the State of Amazonas and is currently based in the State of Santa Catarina. He was head of the Occupational Health and Safety Sector of the Regional Superintendence of Labor and Employment in Santa Catarina, in Florianópolis, from May 2017 to May 2018. He serves as Deputy Director of the Economic and Social and Environmental Law Magazine (Qualis A2). Author of the book: "Contemporary slave labor and the accountability of transnational corporations". He works professionally and develops research in the following areas of law: administrative labor law, business law, public law, tax law, fundamental worker rights, labor inspection, labor law, corporate responsibility. Doutorando e Mestre em Direito pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná. Em programa de intercâmbio, cursou parte do mestrado na Escola de Direito da Universidade Paris 1 - Panthéon-Sorbonne. Bacharel em Direito pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto e Bacharel em História pela mesma Universidade. Foi Professor na Faculdade Municipal de Palhoça/SC. Atua como Diretor Adjunto da Revista de Direito Econômico e Socioambiental (Qualis A2). Autor do livro: "Trabalho escravo contemporâneo e responsabilização de empresas transnacionais". Desenvolve pesquisas nas seguintes áreas do Direito: direito administrativo do trabalho, direito do trabalho, direitos fundamentais do trabalhador, inspeção do trabalho, políticas públicas e direitos humanos e empresas.
