Doctor (2014) and Master (2011) in Cellular Biology (CONCEPT 7) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with REPRODUCTION BIOLOGY as a concentration area. He held a post-doctorate at Northeastern University (Boston-USA, between 2017 and 2018), where he still works as an Associate Scientist.Adjunct Professor IV of the Department of Natural Sciences at the Federal University of São João Del Rei (UFSJ) working in the disciplines of Cellular Biology and Developmental Biology. He has been an advisor since 2014 in the Graduate Program in Bioengineering (master's and doctorate, CONCEPT 6) at UFSJ, and also advises in the Graduate Program in Morphofunctional Sciences (master's degree), which he also acted in its creation and implementation. .Their main lines of research are: BIOTECHNOLOGY OF REPRODUCTION, REPRODUCTION OF DOMESTIC AND LABORATORY ANIMALS, GAMETOGENESIS, FOLLICULAR ACTIVATION, TOXICOLOGY OF REPRODUCTION.He currently coordinates the Fertility Preservation Research Group and Laboratory for Research on Reproduction, members of The Oncofertility Consortium (international research group). He is also a member of the Minas Gerais network of immunobiologicals (FAPEMIG) and leader of the Research Group on Reproduction and Fertility Preservation (certified by CNPQ). He is the coordinator of the Nucleus for Reproduction of Laboratory Animals at UFSJ, a multi-user center that provides structure and animals for experimentation. He coordinates projects financed by CNPQ, FAPEMIG and FINEP.
