Felipe Orlando Centeno González

Assistant professor at Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE) since august 2018. He has a doctorate degree in Energy Conversion (Mechanical Engineering) from the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI) (Brazil 2015), a Master's degree in the same area and the same University, a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Atlântico (Colombia 2008). He was a researcher at The Excellence Group in Thermal and Distributed Generation (NEST) one of research groups of the UNIFEI, he also was a visiting researcher for three months at the University of Iowa (Iowa city, USA) and professor at the Universidad de la Costa (Colombia). He works mainly in the thermo-chemical conversion of biomass, gasification, combustion, boilers, computational modeling by CFD, energy efficiency, biogas, energy literacy, thermofluids, refrigeration and renewable energy.

Professor Efetivo na UACSA/UFRPE (Brasil). Possui Doutorado em Engenharia Mecânica na área de conversão de energia pela Universidade Federal de Itajubá (Brasil 2015), Mestrado na mesma área e pela mesma Universidade, graduação em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade del Atlântico (Colômbia 2008). Foi pesquisador do Núcleo de Excelência em Geração Termelétrica e Distribuída (NEST) do programa de engenharia mecânica da Universidade Federal de Itajubá no Brasil, pesquisador visitante durante três meses na Universidade de Iowa (Iowa city, EUA) e professor titular da Universidad de la Costa (Colômbia). Atua principalmente nos temas de conversão termoquímica da biomassa, gaseificação, combustão, caldeiras, modelagem computacional por CFD, eficiência energética, biogás, alfabetização energética, termofluidos, refrigeração e energía renovável
