Danilo Araujo de Souza

Master of Arts (Linguistics) by Federal University of São Paulo, with the research entitled "Beauty salon enunciative scene: constitution of the discursive ethos", under the guidance of Professor Dr. Sandro Luis da Silva. Bachelor of Arts (Portuguese Language) by the Federal University of Ouro Preto, where he was also a founding member of the Research Group on Dialectology and Socio-geolinguistics (GPDS/UFOP). At the undergraduate level, he was a Scientific Initiation fellow at the Foundation for Research Support of the State of Minas Gerais (FAPEMIG). He carried out the research entitled "The lexicon of the municipality of Arcos (MG): a dialecological perspective", under the guidance of Professor Dr. Clézio Roberto Gonçalves. Between 2013 and 2016 he taught English and Portuguese Language in the states of Minas Gerais and São Paulo, working from Primary School to High School. In 2017 he worked as ESL Teacher in China. Among his main interests are the studies related to speech, language and discourse, with theoretical basis in the French Discourse Analysis, as well as the studies of the regional speeches and its several variants.

Mestre em Letras pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo, com a pesquisa intitulada "Cena enunciativa salão de beleza/estética: constituição do ethos discursivo", sob orientação do professor Dr. Sandro Luis da Silva. Licenciado em Letras pela Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, onde, também, foi membro discente fundador do Grupo de Pesquisa em Dialetologia e Sociogeolinguística (GPDS/UFOP). Na graduação, foi bolsista de iniciação científica pela Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Minas Gerais (FAPEMIG), tendo feito a pesquisa intitulada "O léxico do município de Arcos (MG): uma perspectiva dialetológica", sob orientação do professor Dr. Clézio Roberto Gonçalves. Entre 2013 e 2016, lecionou Língua Portuguesa e Língua Inglesa, nos estados de Minas Gerais e São Paulo, atuando desde o Ensino Fundamental até o Ensino Médio e Pré-Vestibular. Em 2017, trabalhou como professor estrangeiro de Língua Inglesa, na China. Entre os seus principais interesses estão os estudos relacionados à fala, à língua(gem) e ao discurso, com embasamento teórico na Análise do Discurso Francesa (ADF), bem como os estudos das falas regionais e suas diversas variantes.
