Angela Maria Carvalho Borges

Possui graduação em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (1971), mestrado em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (1982) e doutorado em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2003). É professor adjunto da Universidade Católica do Salvador e integra o quadro permanente do PPG Políticas Sociais e Cidadania, programa que coordenou de 2005 a 2017 . Foi presidente da Associação Brasileira de Estudos do Trabalho ABET (gestão 2018-2019) Tem experiência na área de Sociologia, com ênfase em Sociologia do Trabalho, discutindo principalmente os temas relacionados com o mercado de trabalho e com o processo de flexibilização e precarização das relações de trabalho,

She is PhD in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Bahia and Master in Social Sciences from the same university. She is professor at the Catholic University of Salvador, researcher and advisor in the Postgraduate Program in Social Policies and Citizenship. Coordinates the Center for the Study of Labor (NET / UCSal) and integrates the Nucleus Salvador's Metropolis Observatory (INCT \ CNPq). Has experience in Sociology of Work, acting on the following subjects: work and its interfaces with the development and reproduction of inequalities; structure and dynamics of urban and metropolitan labor market; job insecurity and social vulnerability and youth work, family and work. Has been member of the Board of Scientific Advice and Technical Assessment FAPESB in the Humanities and coordinates the GT Population and Labor of the Brazilian Association for Population Studies (2012-2014).
