Daniel Kina Murakami

Daniel Kina Murakami has Bachelor's in Civil Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (2010), a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering from the same University, and an Advanced Level on the Dynamic Measurement and Analysis Proficiency Test, PDCA (Cleveland, OH, USA). He was the creator of the new procedure to perform the CAPWAP analysis on the dynamic load test (PDA), which includes a new form to evaluate the CAPWAP analysis: the concept of Match Quality of Settlements. In addition, he was a candidate for the Icarahy da Silveira Awards for the best Master Thesis in Geotechnics between 2014-2015, organized by ABMS (Brazilian Society of Soil Mechanics). Furthermore, in 2021 Daniel Murakami got an honorable mention in Úlpio Nascimento Awards from Revista Geotecnia in Lisbon, Portugal, organized by SPG (Portuguese Society of Geotechnics), related to the studies from the Master's Thesis on the Match Quality of Settlements.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Civil pela Escola Politécnica da Universidade de São Paulo (2010), mestrado pela mesma Escola (2015), nível Advanced on the Dynamic Measurement and Analysis Proficiency Test, PDCA (Cleveland, OH, USA). É o criador do novo procedimento para realização de análise CAPWAP no ensaio de carregamento dinâmico (PDA), que inclui uma nova forma de avaliar as análises CAPWAP: conceito de "Match Quality de recalques". Foi Candidato ao Prêmio Icarahy da Silveira, referente à melhor dissertação de mestrado em Geotecnia do biênio 2014-2015, organizado pela ABMS. Em 2021 recebeu menção honrosa no Prêmio Úlpio Nascimento pela Revista Geotecnia em Lisboa, Portugal, organizado pela SPG, referente ao trabalho desenvolvido no mestrado sobre o conceito de "Match Quality de recalques".
