Graduated in Animal Science from the State University of Western Paraná (2005). Master (2007) and Ph.D. (2011) in Aquaculture at the Aquaculture Center of UNESP (Caunesp - Jaboticabal / SP). He has experience in Animal Science with an emphasis in Aquaculture and Fisheries, acting on the following themes: production and management of fish, seafood technology, cages, genetics, reproduction, nutrition, eating habits of marine fish Digestive physiology and morphology. Participated in the group Pesquisação Fisheries Production Chain (PAPESCA) projects in shared management and management of fisheries resources and the group UFRJMar at Polytechnic Institute of UFRJ, is professor and coordinator of the course Culture Maritima and technical course of Fisheries and aquaculture (2010-2011). Was Researcher (PNPD - CAPES - 2011 to 2012) in the Center for Research on Fisheries and Aquaculture - NEPA / UFRB in molecular genetics of fish and shellfish, using ISSR marker.
Possui graduação em Zootecnia pela Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná (2005), Mestre (2007) e Doutora(2011) em Aquicultura pelo Centro de Aqüicultura da Unesp (Caunesp - Jaboticabal/SP). Tecnóloga em Processos Gerenciais (2021). Tem experiência na área de Zootecnia, com ênfase em Aqüicultura e Pesca, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: produção e manejo de peixes, reprodução, fisiologia, nutrição de peixes e maricultura. Foi gerente na Fazenda Dona Branca (2017 - 2023), realizando manejo dos peixes (tilápias) da reprodução a engorda e beneficiamento de pescado. Atualmente está como professora substituta da UFRRJ, no Departamento de Produção Animal (desde jan.2022).
