Mateus Bezerra Alves da Costa

Civil Engineer graduated from the Federal University of Ceará. Sandwich undergraduate degree in Missouri University of Science and Technology. Master's degree in Geotechnics from the University of Brasília. PhD in Geotechnics from the University of Brasília. He works, as a researcher, mainly in the area of numerical-analytical modeling of unsaturated flow with the conception, creation and solution of PDEs that govern the phenomena as well as the creation of physical-mathematical constitutive models. He is a Civil Engineer at Consórcio Engeplus/Beck de Souza, being responsible for the preparation of preliminary designs of Special Structures (OAEs). He has practical experience in the areas of Execution of works, Structural Calculation, Geotechnical Engineering applied to large-sized channels and Chemical Analysis for the Sewage Treatment area.

Engenheiro civil formado pela Universidade Federal do Ceará. Graduação Sanduíche em Missouri University of Science and Technology. Mestre em Geotecnia pela Universidade de Brasília. Doutor em Geotecnia pela Universidade de Brasília. Atua, como pesquisador, focadamente, na área de modelagem numérico-analítica de fluxo não saturado com a concepção, criação e solução de EDPs que regem os fenômenos bem como com a criação de modelos constitutivos físico-matemáticos. É Engenheiro Civil do Consórcio Engeplus/Beck de Souza, sendo responsável pela elaboração de anteprojetos de Obras de Arte Especiais (OAEs). Tem experiência prática nas áreas de Execução de obras, Cálculo estrutural, Engenharia Geotécnica aplicada a canais de grande porte e Análises químicas para a área de Tratamento de Esgotos.
