José André Verneck Monteiro

Aluno da Turma IX do Mestrado em Agricultura Orgânica PPGAO UFRRJ/EMBRAPA/PESAGRO (2019/2021). É Mestre em Práticas para o Desenvolvimento Sustentável pela Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro & Global MDP (2015); Especialista em Educação Ambiental pela Universidade Candido Mendes (2015); Licenciado em Pedagogia pela Fundação Universidade do Tocantins (2011); Aquaviário habilitado pela Capitania dos Portos (2005); Guia de turismo especializado em atrativos naturais (2002). Cursou Fruticultura no Programa de Pós Graduação em Agronomia da Universidade Federal de Goiás (2017). Tem experiência em agroecologia, na elaboração e gestão de programas educacionais; manejo de coleções botânicas; desenvolvimento de sistemas de atendimento ao público em atrativos turísticos. Atualmente é empreendedor no Jardim Vital, sítio agroecológico urbano em Cabo Frio/RJ, dedicado ao cultivo de flores comestíveis. Desde 1996 presta serviços em áreas verdes residenciais, empresariais e educacionais. Residiu e trabalhou nos Estados do Rio de Janeiro, Pará, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Minas Gerais, São Paulo e Goiás. De 2006 a 2011 foi assistente de curadoria no Jardim Botânico Inhotim (Brumadinho/MG). Entre 2011 e 2013 exerceu a coordenação do Jardim Botânico Plantarum (Nova Odessa/SP). Atuou no Monitoramento Socioambiental do Programa Bolsa Verde entre 2014 e 2015 (Ministério do Meio Ambiente, Fundação de Apoio à Pesquisa Tecnológica da UFRRJ e Conservação Internacional). He is a Master in Sustainable Development Practices for by the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro & Global MDP (2015); Specialist in Environmental Education at Candido Mendes University (2015); Bachelor in Pedagogy from the University of Tocantins Foundation (2011); Hable seaman (2005); Tourism guide specialized in natural attractions (2002). He attended Fruticultura in the Graduate Program in Agronomy of the Federal University of Goiás (2017). Has experience in agroecology, in the elaboration and management of educational programs; management of botanical collections; development of public attendance systems in tourist attractions. He is currently an entrepreneur at Jardim Vital, an agro-ecological site in Cabo Frio / RJ, dedicated to the cultivation of edible flowers. Since 1996 it has provided services in residential, business and educational green areas. He lived and worked in the states of Rio de Janeiro, Pará, Santa Catarina, Bahia, Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Goiás. From 2006 to 2011 he was assistant curator at the Inhotim Botanical Garden (Brumadinho / MG). Between 2011 and 2013 he coordinated the Plantarum Botanical Garden (Nova Odessa / SP). He worked on the Social and Environmental Monitoring of the Bolsa Verde Program between 2014 and 2015 (Ministry of Environment, Foundation for Support to Technological Research of UFRRJ and Conservation International).
