José Manoel Freire Guimarães

Holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2010-2015) made part of an exchange program in Mechanical Engineering on Brunel University of London (UK) (2012-2013). Obtained a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Federal University of Pará (2016-2018) with an emphasis on Mechanical Sciences, focused on the transmission of structural vibration. Currently is a researcher at the Vibration and Acoustics Laboratory (LVA) of the Federal University of Santa Catarina, working with the vibroacoustics of refrigeration systems, with emphasis on the following topics: modal analysis, structural vibration transmission, flow induced vibration and numerical methods (Finite Element Method and Finite Volume Method).

É graduado em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2010-2015) e realizou intercambio em Engenharia Mecânica na Brunel University of London (UK) (2012-2013). Obteve o grau de Mestre em Engenharia Mecânica pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2016-2018) com ênfase em Ciências Mecânicas, focado na transmissão de vibração estrutural. Atualmente é pesquisador no Laboratório de Vibrações e Acústica (LVA) da Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, atuando na área de vibroacústica de sistemas de refrigeração com ênfase nos seguintes temas: análise modal, transmissão de vibração estrutural, vibração induzida por escoamento e métodos numéricos (Método de Elementos Finitos e Método de Volumes Finitos).
