Pedro Jorge de Oliveira Pereira Leite

Professor at the Lusófona University of Lisbon, where he is a member of the Scientific Council of the Chair of Education, Citizenship and Cultural Diversity, and Researcher at the Center for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra.He holds a Doctorate in Museology from the Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, Lisbon, with the thesis Casa Muss-amb-ike: the commitment in the museological process. In 2012 he concluded his post-doctorate in Social Museology with an investigation on "Biographical Objects: the poetics of intersubjectivity in museology". In 2017 I completed the Post-Doctorate in African Studies with FCT Research Grant with the project "Global Inheritance: the inclusion of the communities' knowledge in the sustainable development of the territories.He holds a bachelor's degree in History (1985) and a Master's degree in Contemporary History (1998) from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, a Master's Degree in History of Education Compared Education by the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of the University of Lisbon and a Master's Degree in African Studies by ISCSP, LisbonHe is director of the Casa Muss-amb-ike: space of knowledge and memories, and the Afro-Portuguese Museum-Station Portugal: sabers and practices of the African heritage in Portugal.

Professor na Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa, onde é membro do Conselho Científico da Cátedra Educação, Cidadania e Diversidade Cultuiral, e Investigador no Centro de Estudos Sociais da Universidade de Coimbra. É Doutor em Museologia pela Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, Lisboa, com a tese Casa Muss-amb-ike: o compromisso no processo museológico. Em 2012 conclui o Pós-Doutoramento em Museologia Social com uma investigação sobre "Objetos Biográficos: a poética da intersubjetividade em museologia". Em 2017 concluí o Pós-Doutoramento em Estudos Africanos com Bolsa de Investigação da FCT com projeto "Heranças Globais: a inclusão dos saberes das comunidades no desenvolvimento sustentado dos territórios.Possui graduação em História (1985) e mestrado em História Contemporânea (1998) pela Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, Mestrado em História da Educação Educação Comparada pela Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Lisboa e Mestrado em Estudos Africanos pelo ISCSP, Lisboa É diretor da Casa Muss-amb-ike: espaço de saberes e memórias, e do Museu AfroDigital-Estação Portugal: sabres e práticas da herança africana em Portugal.
