Arnaldo Valente Germano da Silva

Artista-pesquisador multimídia, NARDO GERMANO é Doutor e Mestre em Artes Visuais pela Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo (ECA/USP), na linha de pesquisa Poéticas Visuais. Com a tese de Doutorado [AUTOR]RETRATO COLETIVO, uma Poética da Autoria Aberta (2012) e a dissertação de Mestrado AUTO-RETRATO COLETIVO: Poéticas de Abertura ao Espectador na [Des]Construção de uma Identidade Coletiva (2007), desenvolveu projetos de pesquisa e criação artística com propostas de abertura aos espectadores em sua série fotográfica Autorretrato Coletivo (1987-), investigando o estatuto autoral dos participantes e interatores nos ensaios fotográficos produzidos no contexto das pesquisas e integrados ao corpus original da série. Poeta e fotógrafo, tem formação cultural interdisciplinar, com Bacharelado em Letras pela Faculdade de Filosofia, Letras e Ciências Humanas (FFLCH/USP, 2001), curso de Fotografia nível Básico, nível Avançado e Ensaio Fotográfico na escola Focus - Fotografia e Ensino (1985-87), curso de aperfeiçoamento em Fotografia Digital no SENAC (2002) e passagem pela graduação em Comunicação Social - Jornalismo na ECA/USP (1981-83). Recebeu Menção Honrosa no X Projeto Nascente USP/Editora Abril em 2000 na categoria Livro de Poesia pela coletânea de poesia concreta intitulada L[íngua] e dois Prêmios Focus (bolsa + prêmio aquisição) pelos ensaios fotográficos Auto-Retrato em Natureza Morta (1985, p&b) e Projeção para Tungstênio e Fluorescentes (1986, cor), nos quais investiga a linguagem do autorretrato na fotografia. No âmbito da pesquisa artística, atua como Pesquisador nos Grupos de Pesquisa Poéticas Digitais (ECA/USP-CNPq) e Poéticas Híbridas (IA/UNESP-CNPq), contribuindo com pesquisa de ordem estética, histórica e conceitual, elaboração de descritivos, e participando dos processos de criação dos projetos artísticos desenvolvidos em grupo. Exerce atividades de docência e orientação de TCC como professor-colaborador nos cursos de Especialização do Programa de Pós-Graduação do IA/UNESP: No curso Fundamentos da Cultura e das Artes, ministra a disciplina Ensaio Fotográfico; no curso Ecologia, Arte e Sustentabilidade, este em parceria com a Universidade Aberta do Meio Ambiente e da Cultura de Paz (UMAPAZ), ministrou a disciplina Arte e Diversidade Cultural. Membro do Comitê Científico, CPA-Comitê Poéticas Artísticas, ANPAP, João Pessoa PB, 2021. Tem experiência na área de Artes, na relação Arte, Sociedade e Política, com ênfase na confluência de Literatura, Fotografia e Tecnologia. NARDO GERMANO is a multimedia artist-researcher. Ph.D. in Visual Arts - School of Comunication and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA/USP,2012), with research in Visual Poetics, he investigates the authorship in interactive and participatory arts, with the thesis [AUTOR]RETRATO COLETIVO, a Poetics of the Open Authorship, an investigation of the authorial status of the spectators in his open artwork Collective Self-Portrait (1987-). He is Master in Visual Arts with the artistic research COLLECTIVE SELF-PORTRAIT: Poetics of Openness to the Spectator in a [De]Construction of a Collective Identity, carried out at the same institution (ECA/USP,2007). Poet and photographer, the artist has an interdisciplinary cultural formation: Bachelor?s in Letters - Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences at the University of São Paulo (FFLCH/USP,2001), with course of Basic and Advanced Photography (Focus,1985-86), Digital Photography (Senac,2002) and passage through graduate course in Social Communication-Journalism (ECA/USP,1981-83). Nascente Award of poetry: Honorable Mention for the concrete poetry collection L[íngua] of 2000, in Book of Poetry category of the X Nascente Project - USP/Editora Abril. Focus Awards of photography: black and white (1985) and color (1986) photographic essays in which he investigates the language of the self-portrait. Concerning the artistic researches, he integrates the Group Digital Poetics (ECA/USP) and Hybrid Poetics (IA/UNESP), as researcher. He develops activities as a professor-collaborator in Fundamentals of Culture and Arts, and as lecturer in Ecology, Art and Sustainability, both courses of Specialization at Post-Graduate Program at the UNESP Institute of Arts and UNESP/UMAPAZ (Open University of Environment and Peace Cultures). He has experience in Arts, focused on the relations between Art, Society and Politics, with emphasis on the confluence of Literature, Photography and Technology, acting on the following specific topics: photographic essay; digital photography; photography and new media; self-portrait, collective and interactive self-portrait; digital poetry; dialogism and polyphony; collective body; identity in the visual arts; open work, participatory and interactive art; urban intervention and collective authorship - about which has been showing artistic production in contemporary art exhibitions and festivals as well as lecturing and publishing papers, resulting from his artistic researches, in scientific journals and proceedings of national and international events.
