Atualmente, atua como Ponto Focal do Centro de Informações Estratégicas em Vigilância em Saúde (CIEVS) Nacional da Coordenação de Análise dos Riscos de Eventos em Saúde Pública (CARESP) da Coordenação-Geral do Centro de Informações Estratégicas em Vigilância em Saúde (CGCIEVS) do Departamento de Emergências em Saúde Pública (DEMSP) da Secretaria de Vigilância em Saúde e Ambiente (SVSA) do Ministério da Saúde Brasil (MS). Possui doutorado e mestrado pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências da Saúde: Ginecologia e Obstetrícia (PPGGO) da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), especialização em Epidemiologia Aplicada aos Serviços do Sistema Único de Saúde (EpiSUS) pela Fundação Oswaldo Cruz (Fiocruz), bacharelado em Biomedicina pela Universidade Feevale, bacharelado em Gestão em Saúde e tecnologia em Toxicologia Analítica pela Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre (UFCSPA). Realizou estágio pós-doutoral pelo PPGGO da UFRGS, atuando como professor colaborador nas disciplinas GIN 005 - Seminários de Pesquisa em Ginecologia e Obstetrícia I, GIN 006 - Seminários de Pesquisa em Ginecologia e Obstetrícia II, GIN 026 - Bioestatística quantitativa básica aplicada, GIN 031 - Oficinas de Planejamento e Pesquisa Científica, GIN 039 - Epidemiologia básica aplicada às ciências da saúde e GIN 044 - Estratégias didáticas para atividades remotas. Atuou como consultor técnico da Organização Pan-Americana da Saúde (OPAS) e bolsista da Fundação de apoio à Fiocruz (Fiotec) no eixo de análise do CIEVS Nacional; coordenador de pesquisa do Centro de Pesquisa e Educação em Diabetes e Obesidade da Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Porto Alegre (ISCMPA) e do Escritório de Projetos do Centro de Pesquisa Clínica (CPC) do Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre (HCPA); pesquisador externo do Departamento de Medicina Interna do HCPA; representante do Corpo Discente do Instituto de Ciências da Saúde (ICS) no Conselho Universitário da Universidade Feevale; monitor da disciplina de Bioquímica I do Curso de Biomedicina da Universidade Feevale e; voluntário no projeto "Ações Biomédicas na Comunidade" da Universidade Feevale. Realizou estágio supervisionado no Núcleo de Análise Laboratorial (NAL) do Centro de Informações Toxicológicas do Rio Grande do Sul (CIT/RS) e no Laboratório Exame de Análises Clínicas. Possui experiência nas áreas de pesquisa básica e clínica, estatística, epidemiologia, doenças crônicas não-transmissíveis (diabetes, obesidade, síndrome metabólica e complicações microvasculares) e em emergências em saúde pública (COVID-19, hepatite aguda de etiologia a esclarecer, Mpox). Tem interesse em gestão em saúde e avaliação de tecnologias em saúde.
