Graduated in PHYSICS by the Federal University of Pará (2005), MSc in Environmental Sciences by the Federal University of Pará (2008) and PhD in Climate and Environment by the National Institute for Research in the Amazon (2015). During his PhD he did an scolarship at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT-Germany). He is currently a professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pará. He has experience in the field of Geosciences, with an emphasis on Micrometeorology, working mainly on the following topics: Processes of turbulent exchanges at the forest-atmosphere interface; Large Eddy Simulation - LES; Transport of Energy and Matter during downdrafts events, Estimates of the height of the Amazonian atmospheric boundary layer, mass and energy flow at the forest-atmosphere interface via Eddy Covariance system. Since 2021, he has been the micrometeorology coordinator of the Amazon Tall Tower Observatory (ATTO) project. He is a professor at the postgraduate programs in Climate and Environment (INPA) and Environmental Sciences (UFPA).
Possui graduação em FÍSICA pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2005), MSc em Ciências Ambientais pela Universidade Federal do Pará (2008) e PhD em Clima e Ambiente pelo Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas da Amazônia (2015). Durante o doutorado fez um estágio no Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT - Alemanha). Atualmente é professor do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Pará. Tem experiência na área de Geociências, com ênfase em Micrometeorologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: Processos de trocas turbulentas na interface floresta-atmosfera; Simulação do tipo Large Eddy Simulation - LES; Transporte de Energia e Matéria durante episódios de downdrafts, Estimativas da altura da camada limite atmosférica amazônica, fluxo de massa e energia na interface floresta-atmosfera via covariância de vórtices turbulentos. Desde 2021 É coordenador da micrometeorologia do projeto Observatório da Torre Alta da Amazônia (ATTO). É docente dos programas de pós-graduação em Clima e Ambiente (INPA) e Ciências Ambientais (UFPA).
