Guilherme Weffort Rodolfo

Professor and researcher Guilherme W. Rodolfo has productions linked to the aesthetic and linguistic fields and their applications in communication and the arts. Belonging to the Research Groups "Culture and Art in Leisure and Tourism" (CALT) and "Collective Studies in Aesthetics" (CEDE), both from USP, he teaches at ECA USP Graduation as Collaborating Professor III (MS-3.1) and in post - lato-sensu graduation from ECA. Guilherme is also a professor at the Communication Department at FMU. With research linked to his children's studies in the media, he organized and promoted the I MusicArte, an international symposium hosted by MAC, USP's Contemporary Art Museum, with the encouragement of FAPESP and collaboration with the museum. The event motivated presentations, research and publications, in addition to a thematic book about the event. As an editorial part of an academic journal, Revista Estética (www.usp.br/estetica), it promotes research related to communication and contemporary aesthetic concepts. He works as a professor and advisor at undergraduate and graduate level, always encouraging academic practice and a wide dissemination of scientific knowledge.

Professor e pesquisador Guilherme W. Rodolfo tem produções ligadas aos campos estéticos e linguísticos e suas aplicações na comunicação e nas artes. Pertencente aos Grupos de Pesquisa ?Cultura e Arte no Lazer e Turismo? (CALT) e ?Coletivos Estudos em Estética? (CEDE), ambos da USP, lecionou na Graduação da ECA USP como Professor Colaborador III (MS-3.1) e na pós-graduação lato-sensu da ECA. Guilherme é também professor do Departamento de Comunicação da FMU. Com pesquisas ligadas aos estudos dos sons nos meios de comunicação, organizou e promoveu o I MusicArte, simpósio internacional sediado pelo MAC, Museu de Arte Contemporânea da USP, com incentivo da FAPESP e colaboração do museu. O evento motivou apresentações, pesquisas e publicações, além de um livro temático sobre o evento. Sendo parte editorial de uma revista acadêmica, a Revista Estética (www.usp.br/estetica), promove as pesquisas relacionadas à comunicação e aos conceitos estéticos contemporâneos. Atua como professor e orientador na graduação e na pós-graduação sempre estimulando a prática acadêmica e a ampla divulgação dos saber científico.
