Guilherme Zdonek Mongeló

He graduated from the History program of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH), with Research Scholarship versed on pre-colonial indigenous interaction spheres in the Amazon region. Doctor and master at the USP Archeology and Ethnology Museum, he worked with the Alto Rio Madeira region - Rondônia - where he sought to understand the material culture and social dynamics of the oldest occupations at the Teotônio site. He is currently a professor and researcher in the Archeology faculty at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL), Ecuador, where he also contributed to the Master's program in Archeology of the Neotropics. He has specialized in topics such as ancient human occupations in the Amazon biome and processes of socioeconomic change in Precolombine America.

Possui graduação em História pela Universidade de São Paulo (FFLCH), com Iniciação Científica versada sobre esferas de interação indígenas pré-coloniais na região da Amazônia. Doutor e mestre pelo Museu de Arqueologia e Etnologia da USP, trabalhou com a região do Alto Rio Madeira (Rondônia) onde buscou compreender a cultura material e as dinâmicas sociais das ocupações humanas mais antigas na região. Atualmente é professor e investigador no curso de Arqueologia da Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral (ESPOL), Equador, e também contribuí no programa de Maestría en Arqueológia del Neotrópico. Tem se especializado em temas como ocupações humanas antigas no bioma amazônico e processos de mudanças sócio-econômicas na América Precolombina.
