Luiz Antônio de Oliveira

He has a degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and a master's and doctorate in anthropology from the Federal University of Pernambuco. He is a professor at the Federal University of Delta do Parnaíba. He worked between the years 2017 and 2018 in a Technical Collaboration project in the General Coordination of Human Resources of the Federal Institutions of Higher Education (CGHR) of the Secretariat of Higher Education (SESu) of the Ministry of Education (MEC). He is a collaborating researcher in research groups at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte, at the Federal University of Pernambuco and at the Federal University of Delta do Parnaíba. He has experience in the areas of Education and Anthropological Theory, working mainly with the following themes: training of indigenous teachers, historical anthropology, anthropology of tourism, memory and orality, Brazilian social thought, social museology, heritage, public policies of culture and cultural rights .

Possui graduação em Ciências Sociais pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (2000) e mestrado (2003) e doutorado (2015) em antropologia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. É professor na Universidade Federal do Delta do Parnaíba. Atuou entre os anos de 2017 e 2018 em projeto de Colaboração Técnica na Coordenação-Geral de Recursos Humanos das Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior (CGRH) da Secretaria de Educação Superior (SESu) do Ministério da Educação (MEC). É pesquisador colaborador em grupos de pesquisa na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, na Universidade Federal de Pernambuco e na Universidade Federal do Piauí. Tem experiência nas áreas de Educação e de Teoria Antropológica, atuando principalmente com os seguintes temas: formação de professores indígenas, antropologia histórica, antropologia do turismo, memória e oralidade, pensamento social brasileiro, museologia social, patrimônio, políticas públicas de cultura e direitos culturais.
