Graziele Lautenschlaeger

Doutorou-se pelo Institut für Kulturwissenschaft da Humboldt Universität zu Berlin(2019), com tese intitulada "Sensing and making sense: photosensitivity and light-to-sound translations in Media Art". Desde a graduação em Imagem e Som pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2002 -2005) enveredou pelas áreas de arte e cultura digital. Participou da criação do LAbI - Laboratório Aberto de Interatividade para a Disseminação do Conhecimento Científico e Tecnológico da UFSCar, onde atuou como coordenadora de produção de conteúdos audiovisuais. No mestrado, pelo Departamento de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos/Universidade de São Paulo, colaborou com o Nomads.usp ? Núcleo de Estudos em Habitares Interativos, investigando a produção de Arte Eletrônica sob a ótica da Cibernética de Segunda Ordem. Durante o mestrado esteve como pesquisadora no Interface Culture Department da Kunstuniversität Linz, na Áustria. Já expôs seus trabalhos artísiticos em diferentes festivais e instituições no Brasil e no exterior. Em 2010 lecionou no curso de Design Digital no Centro Universitário de Araraquara/Uniara. Entre 2010 e 2011 foi pesquisadora visitante no Lagear - Laboratório Gráfico para Experimentação Arquitetônica na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Em 2011 esteve como artista residente no MIS ? Museu da Imagem e do Som em São Paulo, e em 2012 no Salzamt Atelierhaus, em Linz, na Austria. Entre 2011 e 2013 trabalhou como animadora cultural do SescSP, curando e produzindo atividades na área de artemídia e cultura digital. Atualmente atua como coordenadora de marketing do Serviço Alemão de Intercâmbio Acadêmico(DAAD) e, em paralelo, como artista e pesquisadora independente.

Graziele Lautenschlaeger is Brazilian media artist, curator and researcher in media history and theory. Her doctoral thesis, Sensing and Making Sense: Photosensitivity and light-to-sound translations in Media Art, has been defended at the Institut für Kulturwissenschaft of the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and has been published by transcript Verlag. She is interested in practices on the intersections between art and science, exploring the poetic and symbolic layers of technological artifacts, grounded mainly on theoretical references such as cybernetics, relational aesthetics, media archaeology and new materialism. She graduated in Image and Sound from the Federal University of São Carlos (2002-2005). Her Master?s degree was conducted in the Architecture and Urbanism Department of the University of São Paulo, when she collaborated to Nomads.usp ? Centre for Interactive Living Studies (2007-2010). In 2008 she was master exchange student in the Interface Culture Department at Kunstuniversität Linz, Austria. In 2010 she conducted lectures on Experimental Project and Interactive Installations disciplines at Uniara (Centro Universitário de Araraquara). She also worked as visiting researcher at Lagear (Graphics Laboratory for Architecture Experience), at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2010-2011). She was resident artist in the LabMIS program at MIS ? Museu da Imagem e Som in São Paulo (2011) and at Salzamt Atelierhaus in Linz (2012). Between 2011 and 2013 she worked as cultural agent at SESC SP (The Social Service of Commerce in São Paulo), curating and producing programmes in media art, digital culture and dance. Besides the artistic and academic production, she is currently marketing coordinator of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Brazil.
