RAFAEL VERCELINO

Fisioterapeuta graduado pela Universidade Luterana do Brasil (2003). Especialista em Acupuntura/MTC, registrado no Conselho Federal de Fisioterapia (COFFITO). Mestrado (2005) e Doutorado (2009) em Fisiologia Humana pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Pós-Graduação (Latu Sensu) no Tratamento da Dor e Medicina Paliativa na Fundação Universitária para o Estudo da Dor e Cuidados Paliativos UFRGS/HCPA (2007). Em 2008 realizou doutorado sanduíche no projeto de colaboração Brasil - Espanha (CAPES) no Departamento de Fisiologia da Universidade de León, Espanha. Avaliador ad hoc de revistas nacionais e internacionais na área das ciências básicas e clínica. Membro da International Association for the Study of Pain® (IASP) desde 2010. Desenvolveu projetos de Pós-Doutorado na UNICAMP com bolsa FAPESP, na UFRGS com bolsa PNPD-CAPES e DOCFIX, e UFCSPA com bolsa PNPD-CAPES. Foi responsável pela Câmara Técnica de Dor e de Acupuntura do Conselho Regional de Fisioterapia e Terapia Ocupacional do Rio Grande do Sul (CREFITO 5). Foi professor substituto do Departamento de Fisioterapia da Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre no período de agosto de 2015 até janeiro de 2017. Atuou de 2017 a 2019 como professor adjunto do Curso de Fisioterapia do Centro Universitário FADERGS. Atualmente é pesquisador colaborador do Grupo de Estudos em Reabilitação da Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre, professor de pós-graduação em nos cursos de traumatologia-ortopdia das universidades URI e UCS e também é Coordenador e Professor da Pós-Graduação de Acupuntura da Faculdade Inspirar de Porto Alegre e professor do curso de Fisioterapia e Enfermagem da Faculdade Anhanguera de Porto Alegre.

In 2008 he completed a sandwich PhD in the Brazil-Spain Collaboration Project (CAPES) at the Department of Physiology at the University of León, Spain. Ad hoc reviewer of national and international journals in the field of basic and clinical sciences. Member of the International Association for the Study of Pain® (IASP) since 2010. Developed Postdoctoral projects at UNICAMP with a FAPESP grant, at UFRGS with a PNPD-CAPES and DOCFIX grant, and UFCSPA with a PNPD-CAPES grant. He was responsible for the Technical Chamber of Pain and Acupuncture of the Regional Council of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy of Rio Grande do Sul (CREFITO 5). He was a substitute professor at the Department of Physiotherapy at the Federal University of Health Sciences in Porto Alegre from August 2015 to January 2017. From 2017 to 2019 he served as an adjunct professor of the Physiotherapy Course at the FADERGS University Center. He is currently a collaborating researcher at the Rehabilitation Studies Group at the Federal University of Health Sciences in Porto Alegre, postgraduate professor in the traumatology-orthopedics courses at the URI and UCS universities and is also Coordinator and Professor of the Postgraduate Acupuncture from Faculdade Inspirar in Porto Alegre and professor of the Physiotherapy and Nursing course at Faculdade Anhanguera in Porto Alegre.
