Amarildo José Brumano Kalil

He holds a degree in Agronomy Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (1984) and a master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Viçosa (1992). He was president of the Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Company of the State of Minas Gerais (Emater-MG) from March 2015 to May 2016, by the appointment of Governor Fernando Pimentel. He was a professor of Agricultural Hydraulics and Irrigation and Drainage at the Fead Minas Foundation. He began his career as a local office technician at Emater-MG in Bom Jesus do Galho (MG); Later, he served as manager of Basic Unit in Mutum (MG) and as Regional Manager in Ipatinga (MG) and Ponte Nova (MG). It assumed the State Technical Coordination at Emater-MG in 2005; was coordinator of the State Program of Coexistence with the Semiarid and integrated the team of the Office of Project Management. In 2006, he was assigned to the State Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply of the State of Minas Gerais (SEAPA-MG) and assumed the position of Superintendent of Planning Management and Finance. Possui graduação em Agronomia pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1984) e mestrado em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (1992). Atualmente é secretário de estado adjunto de agricultura p da Empresa de Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural do Estado de Minas Gerais e coordenador técnico estadual da Empresa de Assistência Técnica e Extensão Rural do Estado de Minas Gerais. Tem experiência na área de Agronomia, com ênfase em Extensão Rural, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: recursos hídricos, zap, gestão e zoneamento ambiental e produtivo.
