Agronomist graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), specialist in Plant Protection from the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), Master and Doctor in Plant Science from the UFV with a sandwich period at the Universidad de Valladolid (ES). He has experience in agronomy, with an emphasis on agroenergy, energy crops, seed technology and annual crops (soybean and corn). He is currently Professor at the Institute of Agricultural Sciences (ICA) at the Federal University of Vales Jequitinhonha e Mucuri (UFVJM), permanent professor at the Graduate Program in Plant Production (UFVJM) and the Graduate Program in Agroenergy at the Federal University of Tocantins ( UFT). Leader of the research group AgriCerrado (Agriculture in the Cerrado)
Engenheiro Agrônomo formado na Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), especialista em Proteção de Plantas pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa(UFV), Mestre e Doutor em Fitotecnia pela UFV com período sanduíche na Universidad de Valladolid (ES). Tem experiência na área de agronomia, com ênfase em agroenergia, culturas energéticas, tecnologia de sementes e culturas anuais (soja e milho). Atualmente é Professor no Instituto de Ciências Agrárias (ICA) da Universidade Federal dos Vales Jequitinhonha e Mucuri (UFVJM), docente permanente no Programa de Pós Graduação em Produção Vegetal (UFVJM) e do Programa de Pós Graduação em Agroenergia Digital da Universidade Federal do Tocantins(UFT).
