Doutora em Ciências com ênfase em Biologia Celular e Molecular pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP) onde atuou com um projeto voltado a entender a complexidade regulatória no patógeno oportunista Pseudomas aeruginosa (PAO1), visando o entendimento da complexidade da via de formação de biofilme, quórum sensing e demais fatores de virulência. Período sanduiche na Universidade de Cambridge (UK) pelo PRINT - Programa Institucional de Internacionalização, financiado pela CAPES. É Mestre em Ciências pelo Programa de Biologia Celular e Molecular da Faculdade USP, onde trabalhou no estudo da função proteínas fosfatases do tipo eucariótico na fisiologia e virulência na bactéria Chromobacterium violaceum. Graduada em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos - UFSCar, campus de São CarlosTem interesse no estudo de regulação gênica de bactérias e fungos, interação patógeno-patógeno e patógeno-hospedeiro e resistência a antibióticos.

PhD in Sciences with emphasis on Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of São Paulo (USP), where she worked on a project focused on understanding the regulatory complexity in the opportunistic pathogen Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PAO1), aiming to comprehend the complexity of the biofilm formation pathway, quorum sensing, and other virulence factors. She holds a Master's degree in Sciences from the Cellular and Molecular Biology Program at USP, where she worked on studying the function of eukaryotic-type protein phosphatases in the physiology and virulence of the bacterium Chromobacterium violaceum. She graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of São Carlos - UFSCar.She is interested in the study of gene regulation in bacteria and fungi, pathogen-pathogen and host-pathogen interactions, and antibiotic resistance.
