Lucas Allan Almeida Oliveira

Lucas Allan Almeida Oliveira received his bachelor degreed in Agricultural and Environmental Engineering at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) in 2013. After the bachelor he got his master of Science in Agricultural Engineering at the State University of Campinas (Brazil) in 2016. In 2020 he has completed his PhD also in Agricultural Engineering at the Federal University of Viçosa (Brazil) . His main research line is the estimation of soil moisture using indirect methods, he has worked with different types of electronic probes and has also worked with the use of satellite images to estimate the soil moisture.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agrícola e Ambiental pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2013). Mestre em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2016). Doutor em Engenharia Agrícola na área de concentração de Recursos Hídricos e Ambientais pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa em 2016. Atuou como pesquisador visitante na Universidade de Florença durante um ano no Water Harvesting Lab. Possui experiência na utilização de sensores elétricos para estimar a umidade do solo e já atuou em um projeto para estimar a umidade utilizando imagens de satélite.
