Ailton Jose Terezo
Holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry from the State University of Londrina (1993), a master's degree in analytical chemistry (1997) and a doctorate in chemistry (physical chemistry) from the Federal University of São Carlos (2001), with a sandwich period at Universitat Jaume I
in Spain (2000). He has developed post-doctoral work at the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos - USP. He has been associate professor in the Chemistry Department of the Federal University of Mato Grosso since 2006. He has experience in the field of materials chemistry with emphasis on the synthesis of nanomaterials via sol-gel methods and precipitation in conventional solvotermal condition and assisted by microwave and ultrasound. At UFMT, he worked on the creation of the Group of Electrochemistry and New Materials (GENMAT), of which he is deputy leader in the DGP / CNPq, coordinator of the Analytical Fuels Center, since 2009 and the implementation of the Laboratory Management System second to ABNT ISO / IEC 17025. It currently coordinates the implementation of the MT-NanoAgro Network - Mato Grosso Network of P, D & I in nanotechnology in agriculture - www.redemtnanoagro.com.br.
Possui Graduação em Química pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (1993), Mestrado em Química Analítica (1997) e Doutorado em Química (Físico-Química) pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2001), com estágio na Universitat Jaume I (2000). Desenvolveu Trabalho de Pós-Doutorado no Instituto de Química de São Carlos - USP. É professor associado no Departamento de Química da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso desde 2006. Tem experiência na área de química de materiais com ênfase na síntese de nanomateriais. Na UFMT atuou na criação do Grupo de Eletroquímica e Novos Materiais (GENMAT), do qual é vice-líder no DGP/CNPq. Foi presidente da comissão de reformulação do curso de Bacharelado em Química com atribuições tecnológicas da UFMT, do qual foi coordenador no período de 2016 a 2019, ano de reconhecimento como o melhor curso do país. Foi conselheiro titular do Conselho Regional de Química - CRQ-XVI. É coordenador da Central Analítica de Combustíveis, único laboratório da UFMT com Sistema de Gestão Laboratorial em acordo com a norma ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025. Atualmente coordena a implantação da Rede MT-NanoAgro - Rede mato-grossense de P,D&I em nanobiotecnologia na agricultura - www.redemtnanoagro.com.br.
