He is the Coordinator of the GEOSERE Nucleus for Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing and Satellite Image Reception Station-RRS (Recife Receiving Station) at UFRPE. Doctor in Soil Sciences from the Federal Rural University of Pernambuco - UFRPE. Master in Remote Sensing with related domain in Geoprocessing at the National Institute for Space Research - INPE, Specialist in Photogrammetry Applied to Engineering at the Federal University of Pernambuco - UFPE. Graduated in Mining Engineering from UFPE. He has a degree in Remote Sensing, GPS (Global Positioning System) and GIS (Geographic Information System) from Stochholm University, Sweden. Specialized in Digital Satellite Image Processing by DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft und Raumfart e.V.) - German Aerospace Center, Oberfaphehofen, Germany. Specialized in Global Warming and Climate Change by the InterAmerican Institute for Global Change Research IAI. He is a Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Agricultural Engineering at UFRPE. He is a Full Professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Pernambuco-IFPE, acting as Professor and Advisor of the Postgraduate Program in Environmental Management. Professor and Researcher where he teaches Geology Fundamentals, Remote Sensing applied to the Environment and Climate Change in the Technology Course in Environmental Management, where he taught the curricular components of Environmental Impact Assessment, Water Resources Management and Recovery of Degraded Areas. He is a Professor and researcher at UFRPE where he teaches Cartography, Geoprocessing and Remote Sensing, and Climate Change and Sustainability, where he taught Topography, Forestry Photointerpretation, Image Interpretation, Photogrammetry and Photointerpretation. He is the Leader of Research Groups at CNPq. He is Certified by INCRA to carry out topographic surveys of rural properties in accordance with Law 10,267 / 2001. He was Consultant at the CONDEPE/FIDEM Agency of Pernambuco in mapping with high spatial resolution satellite images of the Metropolitan Region of Recife. He is a consultant in thematic cartography, remote sensing and geoprocessing at FADURPE (Apolônio Salles Educational Development Foundation). Consultant in Geotechnologies and Judicial Expert of the Federal Justice, judicial section of Pernambuco.

E onde ministra aulas de Fundamentos de Geologia, Sensoriamento Remoto aplicado ao Meio Ambiente e Mudanças Climáticas no Curso Superior de Tecnologia em Gestão Ambiental, onde ministrou os componentes curriculares de Avaliação de Impactos Ambientais, Gestão de Recursos Hídricos e Recuperação de Áreas Degradadas. É Certificado pelo INCRA para realização de levantamentos topográficos de imóveis rurais de acordo com a Lei 10.267/2001. Foi Consultor da Agência CONDEPE/FIDEM do Governo de Pernambuco no mapeamento com imagens de satélites de alta resolução espacial da Região Metropolitana do Recife. É Consultor em cartografia temática, sensoriamento remoto e geoprocessamento da FADURPE (Fundação de Desenvolvimento Educacional Apolônio Salles). Consultor em Geotecnologias e Perito Judicial da Justiça Federal, seção judiciária de Pernambuco.
