Carlos Ian Bezerra de Melo

Master in Education and Degree in Mathematics from the State University of Ceará (UECE) and specialist in Mathematics Education from UNOPAR. He is an Assistant Professor at the State University of Ceará (UECE), where he works in the Mathematics Education sector of the Mathematics Degree Course at the Faculty of Education, Sciences of Iguatu (FECLI / UECE). He is also Director of the Brazilian Society of Regional Mathematics Education of Ceará (SBEM-CE), for the 2022-2025 period. Researches teacher training and teaching professional identity (IPD), with emphasis on the initial training of Mathematics teachers. He develops activities related to Mathematics Education together with the Laboratory for Research and Teaching of Mathematics (LAPEM) and with the Mathematics Education Laboratory of FECLESC (LaboMática). He has an affinity for the themes: teaching formation, identity and professional development, with an emphasis on the area of Mathematics Education; curriculum and teaching. He is the author of the book "Ordem DeMolay in Ceará: between paths and memories", which tells the story of this youth institution in Ceará. Mestre em Educação e Licenciado em Matemática pela Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE) e especialista em Educação Matemática pela UNOPAR. É Professor Assistente da Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECE), onde atua no setor de Educação Matemática do Curso de Licenciatura em Matemática da Faculdade de Educação, Ciências de Iguatu (FECLI/UECE). É também Diretor da Sociedade Brasileira de Educação Matemática Regional do Ceará (SBEM-CE), para o triênio 2022-2025. Pesquisa formação de professores e identidade profissional docente (IPD), com ênfase na formação inicial do professor de Matemática. Desenvolve atividades relacionadas à Educação Matemática junto ao Laboratório de Pesquisa e Ensino de Matemática (LAPEM) e ao Laboratório de Educação Matemática da FECLESC (LaboMática). Tem afinidade pelos temas: formação, identidade e desenvolvimento profissional docente, com ênfase na área de Educação Matemática; currículo e ensino. É autor do livro "Ordem DeMolay no Ceará: entre percursos e memórias", que narra a história dessa instituição juvenil em solo cearense.
