Lucas Amorim Poyares Castro

Master in Military Sciences at the Brazilian Army Command and General Staff College (ECEME) with an emphasis on studies on Brazilian Foreign Policy (PEB). Bachelor in International Relations from the Catholic University of Petropolis. He were a member of the Research Group "Geopolitics, Defense and Development", registered with CNPq, being financed by the Department of Education and Culture of the Army (DECEx). His areas of interest are: defense studies, international security, integration and international regimes, Brazilian foreign policy and international politics.

Mestre em Ciências Militares pela Escola de Comando e Estado-Maior do Exército (ECEME) com ênfase nos estudos sobre a Política Externa Brasileira (PEB). Bacharel em Relações Internacionais pela Universidade Católica de Petrópolis (UCP). Foi integrante do Grupo de Pesquisa "Geopolítica, Defesa e Desenvolvimento", registrado no CNPq, sendo financiado pelo Departamento de Educação e Cultura do Exército (DECEx). Suas áreas de interesse são: defesa, segurança internacional, integração e regimes internacionais, política externa brasileira e política internacional.
