Graduada em Enfermagem e Obstetrícia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Mestre em Saúde Coletiva pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco. Doutora em Ciências da Saúde pela Universidade de Pernambuco. Atualmente professora adjunta do colegiado de Enfermagem da Universidade de Pernambuco Campus Petrolina. Desenvolve pesquisas em parceria com a Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco.
Graduated in Nursing and Obstetrics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1985). Master in Public Health from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2006). PhD in Health Sciences from the University of Pernambuco (2019). Currently professor at the College of Nursing at the University of Pernambuco Campus Petrolina. Developing research in partnership with the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco and the Aggeu Magalhães Institute of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation. Member of the Infectious and Neglected Diseases Research Group of the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco and member of the Public Health Research Group (GPESC) of the University of Pernambuco. Has experience in Collective Health and Infectious Diseases with emphasis on Visceral Leishmaniasis.
