Carlo Marcelo Revoredo da Silva

Carlo Marcelo Revoredo da Silva holds a Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis and Development from the Union of Brazilian Institutes of Technology (UNIBRATEC) in 2009, a specialization in Information Security in Software Engineering from the Center for Advanced Studies and Systems of Recife (C.E.S.A.R) in 2012, a Master's degree in 2014, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2020 from the Center for Informatics (CIn) at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Polytechnic School of Pernambuco (POLI) at the University of Pernambuco (UPE), a Permanent Member in the Graduate Program in Computer Engineering (PPGEC), leader of the OWASP Recife chapter (https://owasp.org/www-chapter-recife/), affiliated with the OWASP Foundation, and a leading researcher in the CNPQ Advanced System and Software Engineering Research Technologies Lab (ASSERT, http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/3695471376981126) in partnership with the National Institute of Science and Technology in Software Engineering (INES, https://www.ines.org.br) and the Services and CyberSecurity (SCS, http://scs.ewi.utwente.nl/) at the University of Twente (Netherlands). He works as a Researcher in the areas of Secure Software Development, Digital Fraud Prevention, and Assistive Technology for Inclusive Education.

Carlo Marcelo Revoredo da Silva possui Graduação em Análise e Desenvolvimento de Sistemas pela União dos Institutos Brasileiros de Tecnologia (UNIBRATEC) em 2009, especialização Latu Sensu em Segurança da Informação em Engenharia de Software pelo Centro de Estudos e Sistemas Avançados do Recife (C.E.S.A.R) em 2012, Mestrado em 2014 e Doutorado em 2020 em Ciência da Computação pelo Centro de Informática (CIn) da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE). Atualmente, é Professor Adjunto na Escola Politécnica de Pernambuco (POLI) da Universidade de Pernambuco (UPE), Membro Permanente no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Engenharia de Computação (PPGEC), líder do capítulo OWASP Recife (https://owasp.org/www-chapter-recife/), da OWASP Foundation e pesquisador líder no grupo de pesquisa do CNPQ Advanced System and Software Engineering Research Technologies Lab (ASSERT, http://dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/3695471376981126) em parceria com o Instituto Nacional de Ciência e Tecnologia em Engenharia de Software (INES, https://www.ines.org.br) e com o Services and CyberSecurity (SCS, http://scs.ewi.utwente.nl/) da Universidade de Twente (Holanda). Atua como Pesquisador nas linha de Desenvolvimento Seguro de Software, Prevenção à Fraudes Digitais e Tecnologia Assistiva para Educação Inclusiva.
