Arun Kumar Jaiswal
I am a dynamic and highly motivated research personal with rich exposure in the field of Bioinformatics, Genomics,
Proteomics, Drug discovery and Bacterial Disease. I have completed my Graduation in Biotechnology in 2011, Master in 2014 in
Bioinformatics and PhD in Bioinformatics in 2020 (Successfully defended my PhD on 10th of February, 2020) from Laboratory of
Cellular and Molecular Genetics, Institute of Biological Sciences, Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Belo Horizonte,
Brazil. Currently Working as Residential Postdoctoral Fellow, Laboratory of Cellular and Molecular Genetics (LGCM), Institute of Biological Science (ICB), Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Working on New Drug Target Identification For STIs Specific on Treponema pallidum. Pathogenomics of Treponema pallidum (Diagnosis, Drugs, and Vaccine candidates). Studying Cognitive brain disorder specially Syphilitic Meningitis and other neurological disorder caused by Treponema pallidum. I Have good experience in Omics (Pan-genomics, Subtractive Genomics, Reverse Vaccinology), Molecular Dynamic Simulations of Protein-Drug complexes, and Next-Generation sequencing DATA (Annotation, Assembly). Studying Neuroinformatics and Computational Neuroscience to better understand "Syphilitic Meningitis" one of the Neurosyphilitic complications.
