Ivan Jannotti Wendling
Degree in Agronomy (1992), Master (1997) and PhD (2012) in Animal Science at the concentration area Pastures and Forage, all the Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). From 1993 to 1994, it was extension of Nestle Industrial and Comercial Ltda. in the Mineiro Triangle region. Provided scholarship Regional CNPq Scientific, developed projects in the areas of pasture management and beef cattle, by Embrapa Acre from 1998 to 1999. He was instructor Senar-AC and AC-Sebrae; consultant of the Half Acre Environment Institute and national and international NGOs, developing activities related to dairy farming, management of tropical pastures and agroforestry. From 2000 to 2008, was Agronomy Course professor at the University Vale do Rio Doce (Univale) in Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, responsible for disciplines Pastures and Forage, Cattle Cutting and Milk and Goat-sheep industry. By Univale, coordinated the course of Animal Science, Dairy Production Unit in Pasto and the Experimental Farm of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, acting also as a member and coordinator of research and extension projects in the areas of management of tropical pastures; use of tree / shrub legumes for livestock production and recovery of degraded pastures through silvopastoral systems. In 2013, it was technical coordinator of Marangatú seeds and in 2014, he served as postdoctoral fellow by Embrapa Maize and Sorghum. It is currently Technical Advisor of the Autonomous Water and Sewer Service of Viçosa (Viçosa SAAE), coordinating conservation projects and recovery of degraded areas of the watershed of the river St. Bartholomew and river Turvo Messy, also acting with environmental education and as a member the creation of the commission Viçosa Environmental Preservation Area.
Possui graduação em Agronomia (1992), Mestrado (1997) e Doutorado (2012) em Zootecnia, área de concentração Pastagens e Forragicultura, todos pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). De 1993 a 1994, foi extensionista da Nestlé Industrial e Comercial Ltda. na região do Triângulo Mineiro. De 2000 a 2008, foi professor do Curso de Agronomia da Universidade Vale do Rio Doce (Univale), em Governador Valadares, MG. Atua nas áreas de manejo de pastagens tropicais; uso de leguminosas arbóreas/arbustivas para produção animal, e recuperação de pastagens degradadas por meio de Sistemas Silvipastoris. Atualmente é professor do Curso de Zootecnia da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo, Campus Alegre, ES.
