Anaisa Franco Nascimento

Anaisa Franco, 1981.Graduate at Artes Plasticas from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (2004) and master's at MA Master Digital Art and Technology from University of Plymouth (2007). Searching for the creation of a sixth sense, she creates interfaces that interconnect the physical with the digital by using concepts of psychology and dreams, she provides behaviors, feelings and imagination for the artworks.In 2014 she got the Edith Russ Haus prize for emerging new media artists and got Emare-Eman prize to do a residence at Creative and Cognition Studios in Sydney and she also did a residence in MAC Museum in La Coruña, Spain. In 2013 she did a residence at ZKU in Berlin. In 2012 she did a residence at Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris for 6 months financed by FAAP, she also produced a permanent Interactive Public Artwork in China commissioned by the Organizing Committee of the Fourth West Lake International Invitational Sculpture Exhibition and China Academy of Public Art Research Center. In 2011 she received the VI Edition of ARCOmadrid/BEEP Electronic Art Award in Spain and did a residence at L´Estruch in Barcelona developing ThroughOut Breathing financed by MINC. In 2010 a residence in Hangar, Barcelona, developing Alienated Routine , a grant by MIS and a residence at TAV Taipei Artist Village in Taiwan, a grant by Sacatar Foundation. In 2009 a residence at MIS Museum of Image and Sound in São Paulo, Brazil, developing Suspended Reality . In 2008 developed Expanded Eye in MediaLab Prado, Madrid during Interactivos. The work got BEEP Prize at ARCOmadrid 2011. In 2007/08 she was awarded a scholarship from Mecad/Esdi in Barcelona to develop the project "Connected Memories" on the Proyecto Expansion Digital, where she also participated in lectures, conferences and publications. In 2006/07 she was awarded an Alban scholarship to complete an MA in Digital Art and Technology at University of Plymouth, UK. In 2007 "Controlled Dream Machine" was developed during Interactivos? at Media Lab Madrid. In 2004, she completed a degree on Visual Arts at FAAP, Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, Sao Paulo, Brazil, getting scholarship for best work at the 34 Anual de arte. She has been exhibiting in America, Asia and Europe as the as EXIT Festival in Paris; ARCO Madrid in Spain; Europalia in Brussels; Live Ammo at MOCA Museum of Contemporary Art in Taipei, Taiwan; TÉKHNE at MAB Museum of Brazilian Art in São Paulo, Brazil; Sonarmática at CCCB Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain; the 5th Seoul International Media Art Bienalle, Seoul, Korea; Vision Play at Medialab PRADO; SLOW at Plymouth Art Centre in England and many others. She is represented by Central Gallery in Brazil and Adora Calvo Gallery in Spain.
Anaisa Franco, 1981.Possui graduação em Artes Plasticas pela Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (2004) e mestrado em MA Master Digital Art and Technology na Plymouth University (2007).Buscando a criação de um sexto sentido, Anaisa Franco cria interfaces que interligam o físico com o digital, utilizando conceitos da psicologia e das ciências cognitivas, ela fornece comportamentos, sentimentos e imaginação para as obras de arte.Em 2014 ganhou o premio Edith-Russ-Haus Award for Emerging Media Artists na Alemanha e o EMARE/EMAN para a residência artística no Creativity and Cognition Studios na UTS em Sydney. Em 2013 fez residência artística no ZKU em Berlin. Em 2012 foi residente da Cité Internationale des Arts em Paris, bolsa finaciada pela FAAP. Em 2011 recebeu o prêmio VI ARCOmadrid/BEEP Electronic art Award e desenvolveu Throughout Breathing no centro de produção Mediaestruch em Barcelona. Em 2010 desenvolveu Rotina Alienada no Hangar em Barcelona financiado pelo MIS e projetos no Taipei Artist Village em Taiwan financiada pela Fundação Sacatar. Em 2009 desenvolveu Realidade Suspensa no LabMIS, MIS-Museu da Imagem e do Som em São Paulo. Em 2008 desenvolveu a escultura interativa Expanded Eye durante o Interactivos no MediaLab Prado, Madrid. Em 2007/8 ela foi premiada com a bolsa Proyecto Expansion Digital do MECAD, Barcelona para desenvolver Connected Memories onde também participou de aulas, artigos e conferencias. Em 2006 foi premiada com a bolsa Alban para fazer o mestrado em Digital Art and Technology na Universidade de Plymouth na Inglaterra, no mesmo ano participou e desenvolveu Controlled Dream Machine no MediaLab Prado, na Espanha. Em 2004 se graduou em Artes Plásticas na Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, FAAP, ganhando o primeiro premio da 34 Anual de Arte, recebendo bolsa de estudos na Faculdade. Tem participado nos últimos anos em exposições na Ásia, América e Europa.
