Graduada em Odontologia (FO-UERJ). Especialista em Dentística Restauradora (FO-UERJ), em Saúde da Família (UNASUS/UERJ/UFMA), em Gestão em Saúde (CEP-UERJ). Habilitada em laserterapia (FO-USP). Mestre e Doutora em Odontologia/Odontopediatria (FO-UFRJ). Alumni of Harvard Medical School ( Certificate Program Effective Writing for Health Care) Docente colaboradora do PPG/MPCO - FOUFRJ e orientadora na linha saúde bucal e Doença Falciforme. Coordenadora da Área Técnica para Saúde das Pessoas com Doença Falciforme, na Superintendência de Atenção Primária e Vigilância em Saúde, Secretaria de Estado de Saúde do Rio de Janeiro. Membro do GT Racismo e Saúde - ABRASCO Membro do GT Saúde Bucal Coletiva - ABRASCO Membro do Observatório Ibero-Americano de Políticas Públicas para Saúde Saúde Bucal - USP/UNB. Membro da SBPqO e IADR Membro do Grupo de Pesquisa sobre Avaliação em Saúde - ENSP/FioCruz liderado pela Profa Dra Marly Cruz. Atuo no Centro de Referência Odontológico em Doença Falciforme (CROFAL) parceria entre à UFRJ e Ministério da Saúde. Pesquisadora nas temáticas: Saúde bucal, Saúde da pop Negra, Doença Falciforme/Doenças Hematológicas, Saúde Coletiva, racismo como gerador de Iniquidades em saúde, Pacientes com necessidades especiais, Políticas Públicas de Saúde.

I had my graduation in Dentistry at the University of the State of the Rio de Janeiro (1994). I am a specialist in Operative Dentistry (UERJ/1998), in Family Health´s (UNASUS/UERJ/UFMA/2012), in Health Management (UERJ/2015). Master and PhD in Pediatric Dentistry at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ/2005) (UFRJ/2009). Nowadays, I am a scientific coordinator in the Reference Center of Oral Health for SCD patients at UFRJ in partnership with Health Ministery (HM) of Brazil, and investigator responsible for a project financed by the Health of Ministery of Brazil; Technical Reference in Oral Health of the Team Group of the HM in the perspective of the National Politics of Integral Attention to the persons with SCD; Collaborator professor in the Professional Master's degree in Odontologic Clinic, at the FOUFRJ/2013, Collaborator professor in the Multiprofessional Master's degree in Primary Health Care (PHC) of the Faculty of Medicine in partnership with the HESFA (UFRJ/2015), Online AcademicTutor in the Program of Increase in value of the Professional of the Basic Attention (PROVAB), of the Universidade Aberta do SUS, in the University of the State of the Rio de Janeiro in partnership with the Federal University of the Maranhão (UNASUS/UERJ/UFMA) (2012). I have been worked in the Center of Studies and Dental Researches (2009) of the Fire Brigade Fight of the State of the Rio de Janeiro (CBMERJ). I have experience in Oral health, Sickle Cell Disease, Minority health, African Continental Ancestry Group, Primary Health Care, Public Health, Health Management, Evidence based Dentistry and Types of Studies. I drive studies / researches envolving Babies, Children, Adolescents, Adults, Educative Materials, Dentistry Clinic, Pediatric Dentistry, Dental Restorative Materials. I also develop technology and innovation for improving oral health for SCD patients.
