VALDERI DUARTE LEITE

Bearer of the title of Agricultural Technician since he attended Professional Technical Education at Colégio Agrícola de Lavras da Mangabeira in the State of Ceará from 1966 to 1972. Graduated in Chemical Engineering at UFPB in 1980. Master in Civil Engineering (Area of Concentration: Environmental Sanitation) by UFPB in 1986 and PhD in Hydraulics and Sanitation by EESC / USP in 1997. In 2012, she did a Post-Doctoral internship under PROCAD / CAPES / 2007 among the partner institutions PPGCTA / UEPB and DHS / EESC / USP. Develops teaching and guidance activities in the undergraduate course in Sanitary and Environmental Engineering, in the Master in Environmental Sciences and Technology and in the Doctorate in Environmental Engineering. He is an ad hoc consultant for national and international journals, agencies of the Federal Government of Brazil and the São Paulo State Government Research Foundation (FAPESP). He has a comfortable experience in the process of anaerobic treatment of solid organic waste and physical, chemical and biological treatment of landfill leachate. He actively participated as a researcher at PROSAB / FINEP and currently develops research activities within the scope of the Basic Sanitation and Housing program of FINEP and CNPq. He has coordinated several research projects funded by CNPq, CAPES, FINEP and UEPB. He is vice leader of the research group on environmental sanitation (GPESA) and Associate Professor D of DESA / CCT / UEPB.

Portador do Título de Técnico Agricola haja vista ter cursado Ensino Profissional de Nível Técnico no Colégio Agrícola de Lavras da Mangabeira no Estado do Ceará no período de 1966 a 1972. Graduado em Engenharia Química pela UFPB no ano de 1980. Mestre em Engenharia Civil (Área de Concentração: Saneamento Ambiental) pela UFPB no ano 1986 e Doutor em Hidráulica e Saneamento pela EESC/USP no ano de 1997. No ano de 2012 realizou estágio de Pós-Doutoramento no âmbito do PROCAD/CAPES/2007 entre as instituições parceiras PPGCTA/UEPB e DHS/EESC/USP. Desenvolve atividades de ensino e orientação no curso de graduação em Engenharia Sanitária e Ambiental, no mestrado em Ciências e Tecnologia Ambiental e no Doutorado em Engenharia Ambiental. É consultor "ad hoc" de periódicos nacional e internacional, de agências do governo Federal do Brasil e da Fundação de Amparo á Pesquisa do Governo do estado de São Paulo ( FAPESP). É detentor de uma confortável experiência em processo de tratamento anaeróbio de resíduos sólidos orgânicos e de tratamento físico, químico e biológico de lixiviado de aterro sanitário. Participou ativamente como pesquisador do PROSAB/FINEP e atualmente desenvolve atividades de pesquisa no âmbito do programa de Saneamento Básico e Habitação da FINEP e do CNPq. Tem coordenado vários projetos de pesquisa financiados pelo CNPq, CAPES, FINEP e UEPB. É vice líder do grupo de pesquisa em saneamento ambiental ( GPESA) e Professor Associado D do DESA/CCT/UEPB.
