Graduado em Agronomia [Universidade Federal do Ceará (UFC), 2007], Mestre em Fisiologia Vegetal [Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV), 2010] e Doutor em Botânica (UFV, 2014). Atua nos seguintes temas: Propagação Vegetativa, Cultura de Tecidos, Morfogênese em Plantas, Anatomia Vegetal, Fisiologia Vegetal e Regulação da Expressão Gênica, Plantas Medicinais e Óleos Essenciais, Estatística Experimental. Atualmente é Pesquisador Sênior e Docente Permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação em Agricultura e Ambiente da Universidade Estadual do Maranhão (PPGAA-UEMA). Participação dos seguintes grupos de pesquisa: "Núcleo de Prospecção Botânica, Fitoquímica e Gênica", e "Fisiologia de Plantas Cultivadas". Revisor de periódicos científicos de âmbito nacional e internacional das áreas de Agronomia e Biologia.
Graduated in Agronomy [Federal University of Ceará (UFC), 2007], Master in Plant Physiology [Federal University of Viçosa (UFV), 2010] and Ph.D. in Botany (UFV, 2014). He works on the following topics: Vegetative Propagation, Tissue Culture, Plant Morphogenesis, Plant Anatomy, Plant Physiology and Regulation of Gene Expression, Medicinal Plants and Essential Oils, Experimental Statistics. He is currently Senior Researcher and collaborating professor at the Graduate Program in Agriculture and Environment at the State University of Maranhão (PPGAA-UEMA). Participation of the following research groups: "Center for Botanical, Phytochemical and Genetic Prospecting" and "Physiology of Cultivated Plants". Reviewer of National and International Scientific Journals in the areas of Agronomy and Biology.
