Stella Maris Campos Silva

Graduada em Ciências Biológicas e mestra em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais - UFMG. Terapeuta integrativa, especialista em Acupuntura pelo Instituto Universalis, com diversas formações em Terapias Integrativas, inteligência emocional e yoga. Designer de sustentabilidade pela Instituição Gaia Education. Atualmente, atuo como docente na Pós graduação em Tecnologias Educacionais para aprendizagem e EaD na Instituição Pontífica Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (PUC Minas) e como terapeuta integrativa na Clinica Cemear e no Espaço Lumyoga. Experiência docente de 9 anos no ensino de Ciências, Biologia e formação de professores na rede particular de ensino de Belo Horizonte, nos níveis superior, médio, técnico e fundamental. Tenho experiência em pesquisa de práticas de ensino em Ciências com inclusão de novas tecnologias, pelas perspectivas da multimodalidade, abordagem CTSA, metodologias ativas e ambiente colaborativo de aprendizagem. Além de pesquisas na área de Biologia Celular em reprodução animal e Imunologia, com teste e desenvolvimento de vacinas, em laboratórios da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais.

I have a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, I have a Master's Degree in Education and Sciences from the Graduate Program in Education: Knowledge and Social Inclusion from the Faculty of Education of the UFMG. I have experience in researching teaching practices in science with the inclusion of new technologies, through the perspectives of multimodality, CTSA approach and collaborative learning environment. I also have experience with research in Cellular Biology and in Cellular and Applied Immunology in the development of projects in laboratories of the ICB-UFMG Research Center. I am interested in the following themes of research in education: formation of scientific concepts, language and cognition; Pedagogical mediation; Mediation of images and experiments in science teaching; Discursive dynamics in science classrooms; Teaching of research sciences; Use of new technologies in education; Engagement and motivation of students and the CTSA (Science-Technology-Society and environment) approach. I have experience with teaching for 7 years with Science and Biology teaching.
